World Water Day

On March 22, it is World Water Day. I grew up on a farm, and there were many times that our well ran dry, and we needed to haul water. When I didn't have access to the water by a simple turn of a tap, I really began to realize how much I relied on it.

What are you going to do to recognize this amazing resource that we have so readily available to us?

Here are just a few quick tips:
1. When you are brushing your teeth, shut the water off in between rinsing your tooth brush and brushing your teeth.

2. Do not throw toxic products into outside city drains. This water is not treated and goes directly into the river.

In the wise word of Faery Quinella:
Don’t dump in the water what you wouldn’t drink,
It is time for all humans to wake up and think.
What is dumped in the water ends up inside you,
Honour this precious resource for what it can do.”

May you have a fabulous March and take time to reflect on the incredible blessings that you have in your life...like having water available by the simple turn of a tap!
